Biden to Bush: Bullshit

Filed Under (Politics) by Don C on 15-05-2008

With such vehement outbursts, I think Biden and his cronies have made it quite clear what the Democrats consider to be their big weakness in the upcoming general election: Their planned policy of appeasement up to and including the surrender of Iraq to Iran. Anyone and everyone knows this is what they are going to do.

If I were a Republican operative I would insist that Republicans hammer on Barack’s appeasement strategy from now until November. “Oh, you’re not a Muslim but you want to surrender to Iran? Hmmm.” I know. That’s racist, right? But not to worry as I am sure that nothing of the kind will happen for the same reason why no one can show imagery of 9/11: It’s too upsetting… for the fucking Democrats. I’m about ready to start the purging of Democrats. We are way past time.

Here is a basic outline of our efforts against worldwide terorism:

Bush I takes Saddam Hussein out of the game.

Clinton let’s Saddam back at the table by not vigorously enforcing UN Sanctions and allowing the profligate Oil-for-Food farce to enrich our enemies.

Bush II takes Saddam out of the game for good.

Obama surrenders Iraq back to the terrorists in Iran

After this talk and appeasement of Obama fails, then what?

Crazy Raspberry Ant infestation

Filed Under (Local News Commentary) by Don C on 15-05-2008

Everybody just blithely repeats the theory that the recent influx of these little ants, these crazy raspberry ants, were brought in accidentally from a cargo ship. I heard the ship came from Africa; I heard the ship could have come from the Caribbean; and I heard the ship might could have come from the southeast US where they have been experiencing a rash of the little bastards.

If they don’t “know” the ants were imported on a cargo ship, then that is just a wild assed guess. I think it is just as likely that the ants an experiment gone horribly wrong. One, the crazy raspberry ants just happen to eat fire ants. How convenient is that. Unfortunately they are difficult to exterminate, seem to readily multiply, and also cause significant damage to electrical gear. Oops. The story I read this morning had several quotes from Texas A&M scientists who seem to be working hard on solving the eradication problem. Texas A&M is where they do crazy experiments with insects.

Seeing as it takes repeat treatments costing a thousand dollars and more to stave off the horde, I could also envision some unscrupulous exterminators here in the Houston area hearing about the boon of crazy raspberry ant eradication scam from their brothers in our neighboring states to the east that they saw fit to bring a load over here and let them loose to help with the local extermination business. Maybe they brough them on a cargo ship.

The ants just somehow coming over on an unknown cargo ship from an unknown destination is just too innocent. I don’t buy it for a second.
