Paul Auster makes me sick

Filed Under (Traitors) by Don C on 23-04-2008

Is Paul Auster crazy or just stupid?

IT was the year of years, the year of craziness, the year of fire, blood and death. I had just turned 21, and I was as crazy as everyone else.

There were half a million American soldiers in Vietnam, Martin Luther King had just been assassinated, cities were burning across America, and the world seemed headed for an apocalyptic breakdown.

Being crazy struck me as a perfectly sane response to the hand I had been dealt — the hand that all young men had been dealt in 1968. The instant I graduated from college, I would be drafted to fight in a war I despised to the depths of my being, and because I had already made up my mind to refuse to fight in that war, I knew that my future held only two options: prison or exile.

So why isn’t this fucktard still in prison or exile instead of spewing propaganda for the NY Times? Auaster is typical of the so-called “talent” at the NY Times.

Did Paul Auster really despise the war, as he claims, or did he just not want to be bothered with it? Or did he despise the war simply because it was an unwelcome interruption to his own personal dreams? Dreams which other people could sacrifice, but not Paul Auster

I had marched in demonstrations against the war, but I was not an active member of any political organization on campus. I felt sympathetic to the aims of S.D.S. (one of several radical student groups, but by no means the most radical), and yet I never attended its meetings and not once had I handed out a broadside or leaflet. I wanted to read my books, write my poems and drink with my friends at the West End bar.

Whiny little loser bastard. “Waaah, eeewww, but I want to stay here and write poetry and drink with my friends at the West End bar.” Perhaps had Auster went to Vietam his writing would have some depth to it.

Furthermore, Austere isn’t even opposed to violence:

After the outburst in the park, campus buildings were stormed, occupied and held for a week. I wound up in Mathematics Hall and stayed for the duration of the sit-in. The students of Columbia were on strike. As we calmly held our meetings indoors, the campus was roiling with belligerent shouting matches and slugfests as those for and against the strike went at one another with abandon. By the night of April 30, the Columbia administration had had enough, and the police were called in. A bloody riot ensued. Along with more than 700 other people, I was arrested — pulled by my hair to the police van by one officer as another officer stomped on my hand with his boot. But no regrets. I was proud to have done my bit for the cause. Both crazy and proud.

So fighting is ok as long as it is in support of some made up liberal bullshit cause, just so long as the cause is not America.

Fear is the source of tyranny

Un-fucking believable. The religion of peace strikes another blow for tyranny

The controversial anti-Muslim film by Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders has been removed from the Web by its British Internet provider, which said its employees have been seriously threatened.

“Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature and some ill-informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, LiveLeak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove ‘Fitna’ from our servers,” the company said.

We are doomed. What kind of pansy-assed world do we live in? If the threats are serious then removing the film probably wont matter. These are crazy lunatics with whom we are dealing. Didn’t they even watch the fucking film before putting it up?

We learned nothing in WWI; thus WWII. We learned nothing in WWII; thus the cold war. We learned nothing in the cold war; thus the war on terror. We’ve been lucky so far in that we have come out on top in all our major conflicts. Maybe we wont always be so lucky. Maybe we should not be basing our policy decisions as if our victory is the inevitable outcome.

If I were president, I’d make Wilders ‘Fitna’ available on Whitehouse.gov and have it broadcast hourly on Radio Free Europe. When all the enemy agents here and abroad — including many who serve in our government — start to bitch and complain, whine, and threaten, I’d offer equal time to them for rebuttal. Best I can do. Fitna stays.

If violent, yet peaceful Muslims attack us for exercising our God-given right of free speech, we must then defend ourselves aggressively, up to and including killing a shit load of “innocent” Muslims if need be. To question whether it is right or wrong to do so is to question whether it is right or wrong to have an inalienable right to free speech. If the Muslims are willing to kill to prevent free speech, freedom loving people of the world had damn well be ready to kill to keep it.

The basic concept of free speech is that it does not matter if the Muslims are offended. The whole crux of free speech is that someone has the right to offend someone else with words. In a civilized society, being offended is not an excuse for committing violence. If you don’t believe me, go up to Wal-Mart and slap the shit out of the first asshole you hear say something stupid and see what happens to you.

It is a primary purpose of the government to protect the individual’s rights as enumerated in the first ten amendments to the US Constitution. Failure to protect those rights amounts to the government’s failure to uphold and defend the constitution, their sworn duty. Every time we fail to protect free speech in the face of violent threats, it is a victory for those who want to enslave us to their barbarian ideology.

As all reasonable people know, the whole story line that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful is total and complete bullshit. The vast majority of Muslims may be ideological slaves, but a slave with a gun trying to kill you still has to be dealt with.

The “peaceful Muslims” line makes about as much sense as saying that the vast majority of Nazi’s were peaceful Germans who had no say or control over what Hitler was doing so therefore we better not say anything bad about Nazi’s as it might offend them.

Mob justice triumphs in Vermont

Filed Under (Traitors) by Don C on 05-03-2008

Indictments issued by popular decree are nothing but a modern version of a lynch mob. With the election in Vermont last night Kurt Daims and Brattleboro are in the news. Surprise, Bush-Cheney were lynched. Check out some of the many, many retarded comments at the link.

Ironically, the ballot and the fact that people showed up to vote in favor of the idiotic ballot measure codifying the idiotic opinions of Daims and a majority of those in Brattleboro proves uncategorically that we live in a free society and that our elected leaders are mostly not thugs. (The bureaucrats are the thugs.) Do you think a Russian version of Daims and Brattleboro would have felt so confident in running such a stunt against Putin? How about Venezuelan’s lashing out against Chavez? I don’t think so.

Few dislike the government more than I do but I still can’t stand people who willingly throw the nation under the bus because of their personal animosity for Bush and Cheney. You idiots in Brattleboro enjoy your freedom but just be advised a fair number of your fellow Americans hate your stinking guts.

What sane person isn’t anti-war anyway

Filed Under (Traitors) by Don C on 23-02-2008

I probably wouldn’t have so much problem with the anti-war morons except for the fact that they are such fucking hypocrites. All proceeds from one of the latest anti-war propaganda flicks/soundtracks goes to Iraq Veterans Against the War. The site reads like a made-for-TV John Kerry’s Fairy-Tail Apocalypse Redux

From March 13-16th, U.S. veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan will testify to what is really happening day in and day out, on the ground in these occupations.

The so-called “documentary” exploits Tomas Young, an Army veteran paralyzed in Iraq, and funnels the money to a left-wing anti-war political group. I just can not get my mind around why they wouldn’t direct some, if not all, of the proceeds to wounded soldiers. Hell, they could even limit their donations to Wounded Iraq Veterans Against the War, which would be any sane one of them.

I don’t think there will ever be peace and since one can never know how long one will hold the winning hand, I am for nipping problems in the bud whenever the opportunity presents. Therefore I also think we should treat our soldiers a hell of a lot better than we do because we are someday going to need them with much more urgency than we do now. Matter of fact we will most likely have to rely on using much greater force in the future precisely because we wont use greater force now.

Make no mistake, the Arabs want a fight; it is historical in nature. We made the mistake of leaving Europe basically intact after WWII expecting different behavior to result and we still haven’t learned our lesson. The old ways of Europe are over; the stakes are too high.

Americans are the only ones who would rather not fight unless absolutely necessary but when it comes down to it we need to be able to “do it” without interference from the weaker political class. People like Springsteen, Neil Young and the rest have no idea of the peace and love for which they are so fond of waxing eloquent nor about how peace and freedom is obtained.

But, why?

Ted Turner, Land Baron and egomaniac.

“You know what 2 million acres is?” Turner asked over a plate of bison miniburgers and transfat-free onion rings. “If my land was all connected, in one long straight line, a mile deep, it would stretch from New York to San Francisco.”

Then he joked: “I’ve been thinking about doing some swaps. I’d be able to cut the United States in half and charge people from going from the north to the south.”

Except he’s probably not really joking.

From reading the article it kinda sounds like Jane Fonda married Turner, bled him dry, and then dumped him.

Kurt Daims: despicable person

Filed Under (Traitors) by Don C on 30-01-2008

Kurt Daims: “I feel bad for people who are loyal to Bush who have lost a son or had one in the service and it’s hard for them to admit the utter waste of it, and that it was caused by this man in the White House.” What a despicable thing to say. Does that sound like chagrin, or hatred? Anyone who would make such a comment is nothing but a run-of-the-mill hater.

According to the latest Yahoo News article, some of the surrealist moonbats of Brattleboro are skeered that there might be consequences for their treasonous actions. Well, you Bush-hating idiots in Brattleboro Vermont should be concerned for your safety. As a matter of fact, I hereby decree that if Kurt Daims ever steps foot anywhere where I can get my hands on him, I will personally inflict a beating upon his person, regardless of the consequences. If he is willing and able, Kurt Daims shall be free to use deadly force against me in self-defense, since he will obviously have come to Texas for his beating. See, I don’t mind paying a steep price for my actions if I know the cause is right.

We should allow Vermont to secede

Filed Under (Traitors) by Don C on 28-01-2008

Battleboro Vermont has lost their collective minds: “Daims said people in Brattleboro were willing to ‘think outside the box’ and consider the issue.” The box being America, in this case. Here is the gist of it:

“…draft indictments against President Bush and Vice President Cheney for crimes against our Constitution and publish said indictments for consideration by other authorities. ”

“..law of the town of Brattleboro that the Brattleboro police … arrest and detain George Bush and Richard Cheney in Brattleboro, if they are not duly impeached …”

Petitions have been collected not once, but twice.

And Daims is reported to say, in a whiff I’m sure, “If Hitler were still alive and walked through Brattleboro, I think the local police would arrest him for war crime.”

No, if people like Kurt Daims and the idiots who signed his petition were in charge back in the thirties and forties Hitler would still be alive and anyone who had been seen even talking to the likes of Daims, who would now be dead along with anyone stupid enough to sign such a petition, would be living with the polished boots of the Battlebro Police on the stupid necks.

It’s a good thing nobody cares about what Vermont thinks. These are fighting words that kinda have a treasonous ring to them. Vermont should feel free to secede from the nation if they hate it that bad. I doubt there would be a war fought if they insisted on leaving. Canada will probably take them with open arms. We will miss all of the world-renowned products and services coming out of Vermont, I’m sure.

Patreaus’ Betrayal

Filed Under (Traitors) by Don C on 11-09-2007

Jake Tapper of ABC news reports, er, opines on the MoveOn hit piece on Gen Patreaus:

The chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., said the ad “is outrageous and it is deplorable” and called upon her “colleagues on both sides of the aisle” to condemn the ad and, somewhat inexplicably, to apologize to the general for the impugning of his integrity.

Emphasis added. Well, Tapper, let me help you out. Even though the somewhat inexplicable ad was purely a fiction designed solely for political purposes, it was also an unwarranted vicious personal attack on David Patreaus, his life’s work, and his integrity. Remember how much we were all against the politics of personal destruction when it was the Clinton’s who were the well-deserved targets? What happened?

I suppose if you are a far-left liberal whack job–as if there is any other kind of liberal these days–whose primary means of survival is lies and distortion, you might feel betrayed by facts that are contrary to your delusional world view.

If there is any betrayal going on it is by the liberals who have consistently and fervently been trying to sabotage any and every effort made by the Bush administration to fight some very nasty people who are well armed, well funded, and who want us dead.

I smell treason in the air.
